This really is a wonderful opportunity for a fluent French speaking Business Administrator to be in at the beginning of our SME client’s ground breaking new venture in the hi tech bio-pharm sector.  As part of the initial team, you will use your bi-lingual skills to work closely with the directors’ partners in France, whilst delivering highly efficient financial and administrative support across a broad range of areas within the business and ensure strong lines of communication are established and maintained across the organisation.

As Business Administrator you will report into the directors.  Supporting the wider activities of the company including its agent/representative network, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in line with the company’s policies and procedures, your natural enthusiasm, tenacity and excellent multi tasking abilities will come into their own as part of the team in this new venture and your contribution is absolutely key to the successful growth of the business.

The role of the Bi-Lingual Business Administrator is to …

  • Provide support to both internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Develop and maintain well organised data files for all business activities through the ERP system
  • Undertake research as necessary
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing  customers, educating them on the products and services available to them
  • Provide PA support to the executive team when needed, including making travel arrangements for the directors
  • Look after the day to day bookkeeping and maintenance of simple financial records for the company
  • Prepare of documentation as required
  • Ensure all duties are undertaken in line with the company’s QHSE policies and procedures
  • Deliver exceptional customer service across the business and to every customer
  • Take a proactive approach to ad hoc administrative tasks that arise
  • Work closely with our client’s highly successful sister company based at the same site

The successful Bi-Lingual Business Administrator candidate…

  • Is a good, clear communicator, fluent in both English and French - verbal and written
  • Has a minimum of 5 years’ demonstrable experience as a  business administrator or office manager within a fast paced technical product environment, ideally pharmaceutical and/or bio-pharma
  • Is an effective and tenacious multi tasker who never loses sight of the primary goals
  • Must be experienced in working with business systems such as advanced ERP processes and MS Office
  • Will be a highly efficient and organised person, used to working to deadlines and an analytical mind together with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Is an astute, confident and practiced decision maker – a true professional at all times
  • Offers a broad range of experience and skills in office management procedures and functions, including finance and facilities management with an in-depth understanding of departmental and legal policies
  • Will ideally hold a min HND in Business Administration or similar, and have some knowledge of quality management systems such as 9001 or 14001, though neither are essential
